The beginning of our adventures here

This part describes our outings in the last days of the Montenegrin trip, when we were already tired of relaxing: we don’t want to lie on the beach (boring), and we’re too lazy to go somewhere...

Blue cave. Mamula Fortress

Not far from our apartments from the beach of the hotel Delvin 4 * every day at 10.00 a boat departs along the route Dolphin 4 * - Mamula - Blue Cave - Zanice beach, from where they are picked up and taken back at 17.00. Along the way, he collects from several more villages. The cost of pleasure is 12 euros from the nose. In general, we decided to diversify our leisure time with sea rides. We didn’t want to go to Zhanitsa at all, but we didn’t want to order an individual tour even more, we asked for 100 euros. If you had your own company, then this option would be optimal.

I will not retell the sinister story of the Mamula fortress. It's worth seeing her.

On the opposite coast of Croatia

Of course, those 20-30 minutes that are given for inspection are very few. It is completely incomprehensible where the boats are in such a hurry, if there is still time ahead for the beach, and the boats are moored there, they do not sail anywhere. Wander there longer, although there are legends that several tourists have disappeared, having fallen into the dungeons. So be careful

The Blue Cave is a place where you should not specifically seek. It is curious, of course, to watch the swimmers, as if illuminated from below.

And so, the cave is like a cave.

Moreover, when you swim, you need to be careful and track the trajectory of the boats, there can be several of them at the same time, in our case there were 3, someone swims, someone swims out of the cave, i. e. you won’t be able to swim calmly .

In the second half of the day we slept safely in the olive grove on the Zanice beach

How beautiful it sounds: "Sleep in an olive grove", not everyone can boast of this : ))

On the way back, they showed us an abandoned submarine base, and even brought us inside, but they didn’t let us go out for a walk, but we would love to : )

If you look closely at the coast of Lustica, then often your eyes will stumble upon some kind of depressions, pillboxes.

It seems that the entire peninsula (well, or a large part of it) is pitted with underground tunnels and passages. The captain of the ship said that this was not so, that there were several fortifications, but there were no large-scale underground structures. But for some reason I don't believe. . .

It is always interesting to look at the coast from the water, from a different angle. This is the village of Rose

And here I liked the stairs : )). I wonder how often homeowners go down to the water?

Perast

We are already a little tired from our vacation, it turns out that this happens : )), and the town of Perast did not cause us super delights. We're just tired of admiring : ))

Perhaps the most unusual was the view of the fire station. Such huge bright spots among a small old town

And at the end of our acquaintance with Montenegro, we decided to “close” our inspection of the Boka Kotorska Bay.

Perast from the opposite bank

outskirts of the town

After Perast, we drove towards Kotor, then rounded the bay through Prcanj and Stoliv. This is another test for non-local drivers: a narrow path, sandwiched between the sea and houses, without sidewalks. On mountain roads, at least sometimes there are extensions so that it would be possible to pass, but here the cars simply diverge in millimeters. Plus, there are regular buses. But with all the difficulties of travel, it is necessary to visit this shore, just an incredible feeling of calm and antiquity. By the next visit, I noticed for myself the Catholic Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Prcanj (photo from the Internet).

Unfortunately, we couldn't park nearby, and it was too lazy to walk far.

That's all... Many thanks to everyone who mastered this opus. In the depths of my soul I hope that it will be useful for the new conquerors of the Land of the Black Mountains.
