Great sightseeing tour

We visited the Historical Maritime Museum of Tivat. The museum was interesting. Well, of course, the main attraction of Tivat is Bucha Palace, which is located in the very center of the city. The medieval castle, built as the summer residence of a rich and noble family, is very well preserved. Next we visited - Porto Montenegro. It arose as if by magic, when Canadian businessman Peter Munch fell in love with these picturesque places with a warm azure sea and climate.
The next day we had a sightseeing tour of Cetinje. This is the ancient capital of Montenegro, founded in the 15th century. The town is very small (only 6 sq.
km), but full of historical sights. You will visit the ancient monastery of the Nativity of the Virgin, which houses the Right Hand of John the Baptist and parts of the cross on which Jesus died. The Philermo Icon of the Mother of God is kept in the National Museum of Cetinje. Also, we visited the Lipskaya Cave - a unique creation of nature. The cave consists of several branches, which the water has broken through in the stone mass of the rock. At the moment, about 3.5 km of underground channels with a height difference of 300 meters have been explored. By the number and beauty of stalactites, stalagmites and underground lakes, this natural object has no equal throughout Montenegro.
We visited a unique metso, these are mountains, where the place of pilgrimage for all Orthodox Ostrog Monastery is located. The monastery is divided into two parts. The lower prison was erected in the second half of the 19th century. and consists of several small cells and the Church of the Holy Trinity.
The relics of St. Stanko are kept in the temple. During the times of Turkish dominance, when the Orthodox were persecuted, the boy refused to let go of the holy crucifix, for which the invaders cut them off. The so-called Upper Monastery is located 5 km from the Lower Monastery. The rise to it is carried out on local minibuses. Upper Ostrog is built in a rock at an altitude of about 900 m above sea level. Every year, thousands of pilgrims from all over the world come here to venerate the relics of the saint. Many of the faithful tell stories of miraculous healings of diseases that the best doctors could not handle. Miraculous properties are also attributed to the source, which beats on the territory of the monastery.
We visited a garden of trees that are over 500 years old. According to Montenegrin legends, if you hug them and make a wish, it will surely come true.
The result of our trip can be said to be excellent.
