Before going on vacation, she shoveled a lot of springs. Almost everywhere - with a car, by car, with car rental. So I was puzzled by two, for the first time, semi-savages.
We rested with our daughter-student, namely with a student, both in appearance, and in worldview, and in the correctness of statements and actions, although you can’t say that you are 22 years old...
For the first time in Montenegro. 4 days in Kotor, then 10 days in Herceg Novi. I must say they are not biased towards the sea, since it was of interest from the point of view of aesthetics and healing air (well, we are not bathers and not very sunbathers). Therefore, we could not have any negative opinions on the beaches. . .
A colleague advised me that communication at this age will greatly help mother and daughter get closer: youthful maximalism has subsided, statements have become more cautious, openness has increased. So - with a grown daughter it was comfortable to travel. . .
About Montenegro.
We were at the end of June - July, I think the comfort of the air - that's it... There was no terrifying heat, we got a little rain on the excursion. Everyone told us - you are going out of season, but we were comfortable. . .
Air! It is something! No, not ozone, not the smell of the sea... The air is saturated with sweet, pleasant aromas, I wondered for a long time which ones, most likely a lot of flowering trees and shrubs.
I really liked the cleanliness and tidiness. Found on "wild" beaches garbage. And, if cigarette butts, then ladies'. Anyway, the cleanliness of the beaches is much higher than in Russia... The streets themselves in the cities are clean, the roads too. Again, we can be responsible for the areas where we were. And this, I remind you, is Kotor and Herceg Novi.
Views: this is a separate song... The eye rests and rejoices. We decided for ourselves the following trip by bus: Serbia-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro. Of course, it is not harmful to dream, but a person lives by hope. . .
Food. Eat, don't overeat. Delicious, plentiful, safe.
Pleased with water from the tap in the kettle. We, in our homeland, had 2-3 layers of lime in 14 days. Here - nothing of the kind. Moreover, food for any wallet. If you want to save money: a market, soups for 2.5 euros, set meals. We almost didn't save. People. Heartfelt, friendly. We were understood even out of 10 words 2-3, but the general meaning was clear. Therefore, they practically did not resort to a third language. Not far from our apartments there was a family cafe-pizzeria, the owner, who is also a pizza delivery man, an elderly uncle, spoke in broken Russian. At our request, he made a pizza from the ingredients we ordered, and then every 10-15 minutes they were interested (he, or a young assistant (either a daughter, or a granddaughter)) - “Delicious”? Such attention went off scale respect for the staff serving tourists.

I always take a very thorough approach to the rest, I book ahead of time, I ask questions to everyone and everything... I booked an apartment in Kotor in February. Initially, one option, the daughter did not like it - the other. Being already in Kotor, they reached the initial reservation - they were right that they refused - a very inconvenient approach to the apartments along sliding stones uphill-downhill...
I liked the second option: the arrangement of the apartment (a separate entrance, a separate kitchen-dining room, a separate bedroom); excellent location (on a small square next to the church of St. Tryphon); full filling of the room; a cheerful, positive hostess (who communicates more in English). Good for those apartments that are located on the stairs leading to the fortress walls of Kotor, just above the boy, collecting money. Accordingly, the bonus was not paid ...
Every hour - bells, except for night time, but thanks to good double-glazed windows, and the absence in the room - it was not very annoying.
We booked a Maxi Montenegro tour on the website a month before the trip (10% discount). Despite the fogs, humidity, intermittent rain, I really liked it. Well done organizers, exactly, clearly. It's a pity there was not enough time on Cetinje, Negushi, Lovcen. So out of 4 days in Kotor, one went on this excursion.
In Kotor and its environs - to walk - not to overdo it. I was very surprised how in the reviews the vacationers whined that there were a lot of 2 days in Kotor... We plan to stop next time for 6 days.
July 1, from the bus station we went on the next trip - Herceg Novi. It's okay - the bus station is next to the Old Town. A trip of 3.5 euros is a penny compared to a transfer... A comfortable bus with an air conditioner, with tinted windows rushed over in more than 2 hours. We traveled without changing to the ferry.
The apartment was booked for 10 days. There was a studio here, that is, we both sleep and eat in the room, the conveniences of a separate room. Also a sincere hostess, but speaking only Serbian. But we still communicated as best we could: both through the escorts from the site, and ourselves: you can understand Slavic languages))) Every day she brought a pile of towels, reminded them of their daily change (where can you find this in an economy room? ! ) .
From Herceg Novi we went on an excursion to Trebinje (Bosnia and Herzegovina) through TrendTrevel. I also liked it very much. 14 days. Strong spirits were brought from there, cheaper.
Summary of the day in Herceg Novi:
I go sunbathing at 8.00, there are many places to choose from, still in the sleep-breakfast stage. We sunbathed on towels, where we throw there and lie down. Until 10.00-10.00. 30. I come home, have breakfast. The daughter goes into the thick of it, thickly smeared with 50...
After 2 hours it comes - in the coolness of the room (they never turned on the air conditioner), thanks to the first floor and the stone floor, we rest (With Wi-Fi), we have lunch. Hours at 17.00-19.00 let's go for a walk .... Our walks turned out to be somehow one-sided - basically, the embankment... More details, probably next time...
July 11 - ordered a transfer of 35 euros to Tivat.
I think there will be a more detailed story about both Kotor and Herceg Novi. So far I have mastered only this opus...
