Autotravel in Montenegro
Here it is! My husband and I visited the Adriatic coast. I have never seen such a color of the sea anywhere else! Thanks to Valentina from "Bee Movie", who, knowing our preferences in outdoor activities, offered not a beach relaxation, but a trip around the country by car. Through a travel agency, we paid for the flight in advance. A week before departure, my husband booked a room on the Internet at the Sveti Nikola villa in the suburbs of Budva and reserved a car. At the airport, we were met by a "rent a car" representative, who handed us the keys, an agreement, a green card and documents for the car. Checking into the hotel was just as easy and simple. By the way, payment for car rental was made when the car was handed over to us, and payment for accommodation in the room was made upon check-out on the day of departure. Accommodation in Budva was chosen specifically based on the convenience of travel. Every evening we returned to the hotel for the night. Distances are not great. . For a week of vacation, we traveled around the entire coast of Montenegro (Budva, Sveti Stefan, Rafailovici, Becici, Petrovac, Bar, Old Bar, Ulcinj, the Big Beach behind Ulcinj), the central part of the country (Cetinje, Podgorica, Lovcen Reserve, Skadar Lake), the whole of Boka - The Bay of Kotor "along and across" (Kotor, Perast, Herceg Novi, Tivat, etc. ) and even went to Dubrovnik (Croatia)! At the same time, we managed to swim in the sea on different beaches of Montenegro. The water is purest! The people are mostly friendly, many Russians, the prices are low (in stores they are the same as in Kyiv, and even lower in restaurants), the portions of food are huge, the food itself is very tasty. The roads in Montenegro are good, despite the fact that they are mostly mountain serpentines. We did not see reckless drivers, drivers drive carefully. The country is not just beautiful, but very, very beautiful. Impressions from the trip, we got to the next vacation! Satisfied and happy, we are already thinking where to go on our next trip. : )
