I want to share my trip to Montenegro, maybe my story will help someone when traveling to this wonderful country. this year. planning a trip, we decided to go on our own. it was the first time, so I read and analyzed a lot. as a result, the city of herceg novi was chosen. apartments were booked: 2nd floor of the house-80kv. meters, 3 rooms. 2 balconies, kitchen, bathroom, refrigerator, microwave, in short, there is everything. small garden, veranda. the hosts, kind and sympathetic people (our compatriots) met as their own, advised where what and how. we did not expect such a warm welcome. apartments are designed for 5 people. there were three of us. price in August 70 euros, in September 60 euros. expenses: round-trip air tickets 40.600 for three, tourist tax in Montenegro 0.70 per day per person, as a result, approximately 84.000 for three for 15 days without food and entertainment. about the last two, it all depends on your wallet.

a little about food: pizza from 3 euros, a hamburger (very large) 2 euros, a delicious pancake-2 euros, shawarma-3 euros (much tastier than ours) salads 3-7 euros. pasta - 7-10 euros. meat - from 7 euros, seafood from 10 euros. one nuance portions in the cafe are very large, you can safely take one for two. water is expensive in cafes, bought home in large bottles - 1.20 euros. there are butcher shops where you can choose any meat and it will be cooked for you either immediately or specify the time when you pick it up, everything is very tasty and inexpensively cheaper than ours. the choice of apartments is very large, so you should not use the services of tour operators, make a little effort and choose everything that you like. Herceg Novi is an ancient and very beautiful small town with a population of 40.000 suitable for lovers of a relaxing family holiday. city of steps and...cats. I have never seen so many of the latter. the sea in Montenegro is very clean.

the beaches were not inspired - a narrow strip of pebbles along the promenade, or concrete platforms, I just like sand more, but you can get used to it. sun loungers on the beach 2-4 euros, an umbrella 2-3 euros. excursion program: zhanitsa beach read a lot about it honestly ...disappointed, again because of the large pebbles, rinsing in the shower costs 0.50 euros. nature and sea are great. a boat trip costs 8 euros with a visit to the blue caves, but be prepared that you will leave at 09.30 and arrive no earlier than 18.00. the steamboat stops at all major beaches along the entire coast. The next excursion was to the Ostrog monastery. here without comment. who travels to Montenegro is obliged to visit this place. the next excursion was to Skadar Lake, as luck would have it, on this day there was the only rain for the entire stay on vacation, so the impression was blurred, although the guide tried to tell interesting things.

The program included a visit to the Church of the Annunciation. monastery Tvrdosh, wine tasting in the cellars of this monastery. We liked everything. at the end there was a decent lunch at a fish restaurant (included in the price). I used the services of the TREND TRAVEL agency, the prices are as follows: DUBROVNIK-25 EURO, RAFTING ON THE TARA RIVER-70 EURO, SHKODER (ALBANIA) -55 EURO. BOKA-KOTOR BAY - 23 EURO, SKADAR LAKE - 45 EURO. MOSTAR(BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA) -55 EURO, KNYONY OF CHERONGORIA-55 EURO, TREBINJE-41 EURO, MONTENEGRO TOUR-35 EURO. OSTROG-20 EURO. MINI MONTENEGRO-25 EURO, BAR AND ULCIN-30 EURO.
