To explore Kotor as part of the Boka-Kotor excursion, they give only some 1.5 hours of time. This is only enough to quickly walk along and obliquely along its ancient narrow streets, especially without stopping anywhere. Since I am a big fan of all kinds of viewing platforms, we were not too lazy and climbed the Kotor Fortress to take stunningly beautiful pictures of the Bay of Kotor. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to repeat my feat to have comfortable shoes, because the road upstairs is like masonry, crumbling in places, gravel, dust, hot sun. . . The ascent goes up sharply, the fatigue in the legs is colossal. Climbing at a fast pace for about 20-25 minutes, and going down for the same amount, it is worth calculating your time correctly. On the way back, we still managed to drink a cup of coffee and literally ran to the ship, because there is an unspoken rule here - whoever does not have time to sail, goes on foot : ) By the way, for some reason, the rise costs 3 euros : ) At least the road fixed it, right? . . The view from the fortress, as I said, is amazing and we did not regret for a minute that we climbed here. Upstairs there is a small chapel where magnets and water are sold. What else to do in Kotor? Wander through the narrow streets, see the maritime museum, the church, the town hall, luxury yachts at the pier, a beautiful fort on the left side of the city and many cafes. There are also a lot of cats in Kotor. "Murkas" are very peculiar, of all kinds of colors, long-legged and very purring and playful : )
