Wonderful holiday in Montenegro
We learned about the Montenegrin hotel-boarding house "Island of Flowers" from friends. We checked the info with my wife on an Internet, reviews. All the way. We phoned the admin and. . . made up our minds. They didn't regret it.
Montenegro is the red tiled roofs of houses, lost among the white mountains, the lush greenery of the valleys, the cleanest beaches in all of Europe with dark gray sand or the smallest pebbles. Here even the air is special: piercingly clean and ringing. In the guesthouse in the morning we were awakened by the singing of birds and the sound of the surf, here we want to fly up to the tops of the majestic mountains where clouds live, and plunge into the spring water of numerous rivers running down the slopes. The locals tremblingly keep their history and cultural heritage of past centuries. Orthodoxy. Thousands of pilgrims rush here to touch the Christian shrines and overcome the difficult path to the Ostrog monastery, located on a high rock, in order to heal the spirit and body. Many Montenegrin cities (Kotor, Budva, Herceg Novi, Perast, Risan) are real open-air museums and are recognized by UNESCO as a historical heritage of the planet. All this was shown to us by wonderful guides at the boarding house. Amazing!
