We rested in Montenegro in September 2007. Excited!
Read in guidebooks:
“Montenegro has always been considered an ideal region for tourism. Eight months of the year the average air temperature is 27 degrees. The average water temperature is about the same in summer. . . The local unique nature is under the protection of the state. . . Probably, there is no geographically smaller territory than Montenegro, which at the same time would have more cultural and historical monuments. Traces of bygone cultures are found in architecture, urban planning, fine arts, sculptures, and folklore. ”
We went, saw and fell in love with this small, but truly amazing country in its originality.

We stayed at the Albatros Hotel (Ulcinj). Located 15 min. from the city (on foot along the picturesque, pine coast). Cheap (everything, of course, is relative, I mean Europe), clean, good food. The staff is always smiling (a trifle, but nice), friendly. The beach is rocky, the entrance to the water, like in a pool, from the stairs. Water is clear and clean. All rooms with sea view. The view is indescribable. You need to see for yourself. The sea and pines. . . Probably, this is the place that can be called a resort. The hotel has its own website www. albatros-hotels. com
If you go, be sure to visit Ostrog and the Tsetinsky Monastery. Do not "roll" only on the beach. Alternate holidays at sea with excursions. Otherwise, you will never know why this extraordinary country is admired.
