Just about the Maldives will not write. I will write specifically about this island. We wanted privacy and therefore took rooms on the far side near the sandy spit. Keep in mind that these rooms have not been renovated for a long time, the condition is not very good. Inside the island there are brand new villas with a jacuzzi, which they write about here, but they are decently stuck - it's hard to retire. Meals - buffet 3 times a day annoying. You have to seriously restrain yourself so as not to overeat, because it is varied and tasty. There is a kids club where you can leave the child for a few hours. There is even a light snack for the kids. English speaking staff. Our child has been there a couple of times.
All paths on the island are made of sand. There are no tiles or asphalt at all.
We took Big Game fishing. First time I went to one. Highly recommend. Take a couple of fish with you and release the rest. Then you will have this fish fried for dinner. Given the size of the fish, the portion is huge. The bow of the sailboat is still at home, but I felt sorry for the fish.

From the ocean in front of the beach in the water there are walls protecting the beach from corals and erosion - they spoil the view a little. Snorkeling on the reef from the ocean is possible, but it is better to get through dug channels so as not to cut your belly with corals. Well, you can snorkel from the inland sea if you are afraid to swim into the ocean.
The sandy spit is super, you just have to stand in line from those who want to take photos. The Japanese are especially zealous. So if you see the Japanese on the way to the spit, it is better to overtake them.
