We traveled between the end of May and the beginning of June.
Weather: it was hot, +27+30, the ocean was warm. There were also rains, mostly at night. Once, tropical rain (like from a bucket) fell all day, but this did not interfere with the rest at all. We burned beautifully. During the day, from 13-16 hours, there is almost no one on the beach, because it is hot, everyone is hiding in the shade of palm trees. Coral sand, white. Sometimes it hurts to walk, but they say it is useful.
Nature: very beautiful, exotic such that just ah! Always a turquoise ocean, despite the cloudiness, clear water, white sand, many exotic flowers and trees. Well-groomed territory, the Maldivians follow this. During the trimming of bushes and trees, watered, if necessary, clean the beach from dry leaves daily. There are a lot of different living creatures, which mostly come to life after 19-00, when it gets dark. These are crabs and crustaceans that crawl onto the beach, flying foxes that live on fruit trees, electric rays, sharks, colorful fish. There are a lot of fish. You can see them right from the bridge. We fed them by dining in an Italian restaurant. They threw bread into the water. Corals can also be seen, albeit a little, by snorkeling.

Territory: the island is quite large. Slowly you can get around it in 2-3 hours. It seems that you are alone on the island. Very clean, everything in greenery and flowers. There is a luxurious spa on site. There are golf, basketball and tennis courts. On the beach you can find a large number of coconuts. You can ask the attendants to break and cut it for you. Delicious and juicy coconut! Well, of course they charge money for it. There are many Russians. By the way, some said that they came to this hotel for the second / third time, someone shared their impressions of other hotels in the Maldives, but this one turned out to be the best.
Food: The food is very specific. Special oil (soybean and rapeseed), spices…. I would advise taking breakfast only (BB). Breakfast food is not varied. Maldivians stand with bowls of eggs and fry whatever you want: scrambled eggs or scrambled eggs. There are vegetables: tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage, carrots. The pastries and cakes are delicious! You can make your own muesli, but I have not tried it. Where do they get milk from? What is its origin? What freshness in a heat of 30 degrees? I saw some baked shrimp in the containers, but the smell was disgusting. In general, seafood here smells 10 times stronger than our frozen ones in stores. This is for an amateur. We had dinner at the Italian restaurant and at the Coffee shop. Pasta in an Italian restaurant is very tasty (I especially liked Carbonara with bacon in a creamy sauce - $ 17). The Coffee shop has deliciously cooked chicken escalope with french fries and salad - $14. You can order pizza by phone (334). From 14$. Fruits are not very tasty, some medium ripeness.
Service: The room is cleaned 2 times a day (morning and evening after 19-00). Change towels. Leave a tip of $1-5. If we didn’t need cleaning, we left a “do not disturb” sign, but still the cleaners came up to us and asked why we had a sign. Removed by young people. There are practically no women on the island (they only clean the beach, waiters, shop assistants are men). Restaurants offer Russian menus. If you can’t understand something, they will explain it to you on the fingers. It is better to choose a bungalow on the northern part of the island, the descent to the ocean is very good. But it's super deluxe. We had a ticket to deluxe, but we paid $200 extra and they gave us super deluxe. Ask Hakim (Russian speaking guide) for a better room. He will do everything for you, just do not forget to thank him for it.
Local transport: everyone rides bicycles. Both service personnel and tourists.

Money/prices: In general, it is forbidden to pay in cash on the territory of the hotel. Everything is recorded on the number. It is very convenient. Don't keep money in your room safe - very INSANE. As soon as you arrive, hand over everything of value (money, tickets, documents) to the safe at the reception - it's free and very reliable. Check banknotes. Once in the Lobby bar, the bartender tried to put a fake on us. We noticed right away. Although he should not accept cash at all, he offered it to us himself. Sells alcohol expensive, although he should give a discount from 18-19. In general, Red Lebel whiskey costs $ 150 with him, and in an Italian restaurant it costs $ 120. By the way, everything in a minibar is $1.5-2 more expensive than in a restaurant. In general, I advise upon arrival to ask to close the minibar and not use it. I don't know who, but it looks like the boy-room cleaner adds to the bill that you didn't drink from the minibar. As a result, paying off the day before departure, I counted for $ 100 what we did not take in the minibar, but you can’t prove it. It seems like a trifle, but annoying. Another unpleasant moment: the boy room promised us to decorate the bed with flowers while we were having dinner, but instead, when we returned to the room, we found the curtains completely closed (so that no one could see from the street) and ransacked bags and a safe. Of course, the next day I was very cursing with this cleaner, but he immediately forgot English and stopped understanding me. In general, bungalow cleaners change every 2-3 days. Do not leave in bags, even Russian money in a safe. This boy-room was trying to change a Russian banknote of 1000 rubles at our place, he said that they kind of gave him a tip like that. We didn't believe.
Prices: regular juice - 1 liter - from $16; water 1.5 liters -3$
Souvenirs: quite expensive.
Magnet - $ 3-4.
Bookmark for a book made of wood - $ 2-3.
Photo album from bamboo leaves - $ 9.
Drums - from $15.
Candlesticks - from $ 7.
In general, a lot of things: wooden figurines, glass cubes with the image of the island, bottles with white sand, towels, straw bags, plates, wooden boats, straws, hairpins, beads, pens, paintings, key chains....
Entertainment: in the evening every day is organized at 18.30 and at 22.00 - feeding of sharks, at 21-00 - feeding of stingrays. Very exciting. Be prepared to feed them raw, cleaned fish. The cafe hosts crab races, karaoke, discos, demonstrations of national dances, fashion…. Excursions cost from $35 - $100, for example, to see dolphins (in the morning you go on a boat to the ocean, but you may not see dolphins), fishing, a trip to the lagoon, a trip to the village (prepare shorts, dresses below the knee). There is a water sports village on the island where you can take any boat, sail, scooter and ride. We got bored after a week. I can say that the Maldives is quite a passive holiday.
We are delighted with the Maldives despite all the unpleasant moments that have happened!! ! Be careful when it comes to money!!!
Such beauty and exotic! Real paradise!! !
