Before a trip to the Maldives, I spent a long time choosing the most suitable place to stay in a cozy hotel, remote from prying eyes. The choice fell on Ayada Maldives in one of the southern atolls. Despite the considerable distance from Male, it is not difficult to get there, transport works without interruption. Stayed for 5 days at the Sunset Ocean Suite, with a sunset view. Huge villa on stilts, glass panel in the floor for watching fish, 2 bathrooms, separate kitchen, oriental-style furniture (the hotel is owned by a Turkish company), plush bed, handmade wooden furniture, two LCD TVs, Wi-Fi worked without interruption . And what was a pleasant surprise - absolute silence, broken only by a slight splash of waves of fabulous shades. Snorkeling also brought a lot of pleasure, the underwater world is quite diverse, the employees feed fish every day (including huge rays), tourists are happy to watch. By the way, about the clientele.
For unknown reasons, most of the guests were from China, calm, smiling, and mostly young people (I consider this a plus). The hotel has 4 restaurants (European, Mediterranean and Chinese style) for every taste, where they arrange special "lunches for the newlyweds", 3 bars, a fitness center, a huge SPA complex with many services (unfortunately, I managed to experience only massage) . Also on the territory of the hotel I saw a room specially designated for weddings and a spacious, well-groomed lawn in front of it. The island itself is immersed in the greenery of a wide variety of species (from a particularly remarkable pandan and papaya, as well as a huge ficus), flying foxes periodically fly between palm trees, small geckos run around. On all beaches, the sand is equally white and clean, there are white cozy niches with snow-white sofas. It is worth noting the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, there was a sincere concern on their part.
During my stay at this hotel was fishing in the traditional Maldivian way - informative but not for everyone. I also attended a karaoke party with Chinese friends - it was incredibly fun, the Chinese lit up as best they could: ) Before leaving, they organized a "tasting" of freshly cut coconuts for us, which added to the pleasant experience.

It is possible to describe the advantages of this resort for a long time, but I am sure that it is better to see it with your own eyes once.

Another plus of the hotel is that it opened recently (1 year ago), and perhaps that is why you are unlikely to meet tourists from the post-Soviet space here. In general, a very decent and pleasant hotel even for a sophisticated tourist. I think that both young people and families with children (there is a kids club), and more mature guests will equally like it here.
