We stayed from the end of January to February. We traveled under the Fortuna program, so we didn’t know which hotel we would end up in until the very end. We were lucky and we ended up in Adaran, which we never regretted for all 12 days.
We fell in love with the island at first sight: compact, bordered by charming white sand and incredibly blue-turquoise-blue expanse of the ocean! And the houses in the Maldivian style complement the atmosphere very harmoniously.
Representatives of the company Tez Tour met us quite well. Check-in was quick and without too much fuss, so that after 15 minutes our suitcases were already in the room. The rooms are very comfortable, spacious, nothing more. The two-story houses all overlook the ocean, so we fell asleep and woke up to the sound of the surf. 5 meters to the beach... The only thing is that sometimes there were goosebumps in the bathroom, small, unobtrusive. They were poisoned, but personally they did not interfere with us at all, nature after all.
The coastline is clean, leaves, corals are cleaned every morning. Entry into the sea is quite good: in some places there are fragments of corals, and there is a place not far from the beach bar where there is a very good entry - sand and water, nothing and no one else, in fact, everyone swims there. during high tide it is especially good, at low tide it is also normal, you just need to go further. From different sides of the island you can occupy yourself with different things - swim somewhere calmly, swim somewhere with a mask and fins (the underwater world is incredibly beautiful !! ), and whoever does not swim with a mask, you can look at the corals and their inhabitants right next to the coast is the beach from the side of the pier to which, next to the diving school, a volleyball court. We took bread for breakfast and fed the fish with it, so many different ones swam !! ! Worth trying ; )
As for animation and entertainment, it is: beach volleyball, diving, table tennis, aqua aerobics, karaoke in the evenings, live music, parties two or three times a week, excursions and a beauty salon; however, I have not heard that this animation was in English, usually in Italian. but what's the difference in what language you will be shown exercises during aerobics, it's even more interesting, you can learn a couple of Italian expressions; )
Regarding vacationers, there were many Italians (very friendly and incendiary), representatives of China with their large families, but they were usually only seen, not heard, there were French, and quite a few Russians. Not to say that absolutely everyone was with couples or with families, there were free people, so if you wanted, you could “snort” together, take a walk. freshly squeezed
The staff is neat, the rooms were cleaned well, even when no tip was left. Regarding the staff in the restaurant, the guys are all young, unobtrusive, sometimes they took a long time to clear the table, but again, this did not bother. Maybe someone left a tip for those better and faster, everything was fine, but everything suited us anyway. Their cuisine is not very diverse: for breakfast, porridge, buns, sausage, scrambled eggs, fruits (pineapples are insanely delicious !!! ), tea, coffee, juices (not freshly squeezed), that's basically all. Sometimes they didn’t even know what to take, but these are only breakfasts. For lunch we went to another restaurant, we had HB, so I don't know about lunch there. But the dinners were more varied: always fish of different varieties, often there was tuna, very tasty. I don’t know why some say that they don’t know how to cook fish, everything was delicious, it’s just that some types of fish are not very juicy in themselves, but their sauces corrected all this, there was always pasta, also very tasty, potatoes, vegetables, again fruits , a lot of salads, and not banal, spices, smoked meats. Desserts for dinner are another story! Their mousses are AMAZING!! ! All sorts of different, so light, with a rich taste... mmm, you will lick your fingers (although I never really liked mousses). Various cupcakes6 cakes, rolls, cookies. . . In general, it's delicious, they just didn't leave there, but rolled like koloboks; )
One big bird lives there, it seems a stork, it is very interesting to watch him, you can see at dawn how he "hunts" for fish. Small sharks swim there, but we were lucky to see not only small ones, but also real, huge sharks !! ! They were fed once per fish head. After that, I was afraid to swim, but after asking the locals I found out that they did not attack, there was even a case when such a shark swam very close to a tourist, right under him and nothing, everyone was safe. Lots of lizards, pretty ones, they didn't bother us in the room. We saw one mouse once. Hens are local beggt, we also fed them with zleb. In the morning some birds sometimes screamed, very loudly, I had to wake up, but I captured an incredibly beautiful sunrise!!!!
Sunrise and sunset are worth watching with a camera! Just an amazing sight! And the starry sky is mesmerizing! You can see a lot of stars! It is especially great to sit in the beach bar in the evening, listen to the waves, music, look at the fish that have come to light, feed them or look at the stars....
In general, we spent all 12 days in paradise, calmly, quietly, well, but we did not die of boredom, if you want you can always find something to do. Tan went well, sunscreens are sold in the shop, there are also various souvenirs. We didn’t buy much, we hoped that there would be more choice and prices in the duty free (on the island, plus a 13.5% tax), but I’ll tell you that we didn’t really like the duty free shop at the airport... So that oils, souvenirs and the like are better to take on the island, prices are sometimes even lower (for example, on the island a T-shirt with the inscription Maldives cost $ 10, and at the airport from $ 12 and the price depended on the color !!! ) Oils are also very good there, but again it is better to take it on the island - the packaging is better, the price is much lower !!!
