Good green hotel. The cheapest Garden rooms without comment. There is no point in paying more. There is WI-FI in the room. You can swim on the island only in one place, to the left of the pier. Such indescribable dirt, probably, can only be seen in India. You need to take a ferry to the capital for 1 dollar and in 5 minutes you will be there. On one of the excellent Russian resources, we nevertheless found a fairly complete list of hotels with full reviews on them, photo reports and many comments. Based on all the information received and settled on the Kuredu Island Resort.
The hotel was chosen for several reasons:
1. The main contingent is cultured and educated foreigners who themselves rest in peace and let others do it
2. Undoubtedly, beautiful territory and infrastructure
3. Well-groomed villas with their own territory
4.
The island is slightly larger than average, so that there is an opportunity to spend your time at least somewhere
5. Good beach without breakwaters and limiters
6. Flight to the island by seaplane
I want to note that the Maldives as a resort are arranged according to this principle: one island - one hotel, i. e. you live on your own island.
There are several types of accommodation at Kuredu Hotel:
- Beach and Garden bungalows - bungalows that are located in the center of the island and do not have their own beach (for example, in Egypt, hotels on the second line)
- Beach villas - various types of villas that are located along the beach line
- Jacuzzi Beach villas - high-level villas with their own patio and jacuzzi
- Water villas - the most expensive accommodation, villas placed on stilts in the water.
When discussing accommodation options, one cannot fail to mention one extremely important detail: the coasts from the southern (Jacuzzi Beach villas and some types of Beach villas are located here) and the northern part of the island (Water villas and another part of Beach villas are located here) are extremely different from each other! Namely, the fact that on the north side both the entrance to the ocean and the bottom itself are very bad: uncleaned, everything is in dead corals, algae, etc. , and besides, breakwaters are installed on this side along the entire beach line, which terribly spoil all the beauty ...
What can not be said about the reverse side of the island: the beach is snow-white, not a single trash can, without a drop of algae, no breakwaters and other limiters in the water.
Having found this information on the net, a clear decision was made to opt for the rooms of Jacuzzi Beach villas. For a hint: these are numbers from 111 to 160 (south side).
Upon arrival, we got room 142, which we were very pleased with and there was not a single complaint about it during our entire stay.
JACUZZI BEACH VILLA.
This type of accommodation includes: the villa itself with a chic king-size bed that is covered with a transparent white canopy, with a TV, built-in wardrobe, safe, mini-bar, etc. , outdoor shower (only covered with a thatched roof in case of rain ), a patio with an outdoor jacuzzi, as well as a terrace in front of the house, on which there are sun loungers.
BEACH IN FRONT OF THE VILLA.
Each villa is conditionally separated from the other on both sides by green spaces, thus creating an illusion of privacy.
In front of the villa, within 5 steps, there are 2 sun loungers that belong only to your villa and you, and immediately after the ocean.....
TERRITORY.
Like the types of accommodation, restaurants are also divided into several types. If we conditionally divide them, then there are 4 such main ones: southern (Koamas), northern (Bonthi), western (Sangu) and eastern (O').
All restaurants are assigned to each type of villas, Koamas belongs to Jacuzzi Beach villas, but by prior call you can have breakfast or lunch in any of the island's restaurants. You can only dine in your own.
In addition, the island has 2 swimming pools (in the center of the island, where the main life is, and in the east), 8 different bars, including those by the pools, a golf club (! ), a football field, a diving center, a clinic, a gym, several shops with clothes and souvenirs.
ENTERTAINMENT
The main events were held in a bar called Babuna-bar (center of the island), every evening there is a new program - Maldives Night, Euro Disco, Cocktail Party, Magic Show, Crab Race (! ) etc.
In another bar, next to which is the main reception, Akiri, you can surf the Internet, as there is a free WI-FI network.
All life was spent in these centers.

The best photos come out on it, which is what the inhabitants of the island do almost all the time. Moreover, the spit is unique in any weather: in calm weather, beautiful islands are found on it, along which it is easy to cross to the very edge of the spit; in rough weather, the waves meeting on both sides look very beautiful, which create incredible storm pictures.
As for the underwater world of Kuredu, here it is extremely flawed, unfortunately. There is a house reef, as the locals call it, opposite the pool, which is located to the right of the pier (if you look at the island), but it is very sad. The maximum that was found there is a family of turtles, indeed, an unforgettable sight. So there’s nothing special to admire under water at Kureda, if you counted on it ...
NATURE and LIVING
The island is very green, there are a lot of flowers, plants, etc.
What is especially pleasing is that there are no mosquitoes and unpleasant midges on the island, they are constantly poisoned with special means.
But there are a lot of small lizards, crabs, birds, small rays and even small domestic sharks in the northern part that swim in the natural pool.
ROMANCE

Among the services there are a lot of different events specifically for newlyweds: they can take you to a desert island, take a boat ride to other islands, arrange a romantic candlelight dinner or breakfast in bed. But the wedding pavilion for ceremonies is especially popular here, in which an unofficial wedding ceremony is held according to local traditions.
But since the white gazebo is installed permanently, many people take advantage of this and arrange their own ceremonies without bothering to pay 1700 USD. e. for the ceremony performed by the staff for those who paid for it.
PEOPLE
As mentioned above, the main contingent on the island are foreigners: French and Germans, mostly. And it's very cool! You feel real in a very civilized and cultured society.
By the way, if someone expects that they know Russian here, then I want to disappoint you: all the staff speak only ENGLISH, which is generally accepted here!
The staff is very good, helpful, polite, they are not allowed to take a tip, if you took it, you must give it to the reception. But if you do it imperceptibly, then of course they take it willingly : )

The hotel is worthy, it justifies its four stars by 100. We got the "ocean beach villa" 293, located just in that part of the island where the entrance to the water is fenced with breakwaters and a lot of stones. But even this placement has its advantages. I think the ocean restaurant we were assigned to is the best located on the island, in the sense that it is almost above the water - the views are amazing. The ocean rooms were built in 2007. Everything works, everything is in excellent condition, and there are not many people. But on the side where the pier is, there are a lot of people, everyone wants white sand and a good entry into the ocean. It takes 7-10 minutes to get to the pier. You just need to cross the island across and you are already on the other side. I don't see any problem with this. We had a full board, because we are people who do not drink - this suited us perfectly. The food was delicious, kudos to the chef. The food is very varied, with the exception of breakfast, but I think this is a trifle. There are really very few Russians in the hotel, we were the only ones in our restaurant. From the excursions we took one fishing trip - very exciting - we caught a lot of fish, filled out an application and the next day they prepared it for us. Regarding coconuts, take a knife with you if you want to enjoy the nut. We didn’t like coconut milk, but nuts are what we need, but it’s not easy to get them. With some skill and experience, it took 10-15 minutes, and our rumboy with his cleaver took five. An excellent snork to the left of the pier, if you turn to face it. The corals are dead, but there are many living creatures. We rented life jackets at the dive center ($4 per hour for one life jacket) and snorkeled for hours watching turtles and other inhabitants. Well, there are specimens - just some kind of "mammoths", one and a half meters in length and their whole flocks. Sometimes I wondered if they would go crazy and pounce on me, how long would it take them to eat me - the answer was not long in coming.
