We rested in January 2008. . . It is impossible to meet a more ugly place!!
The sea is not allowed to swim. At high tide, the depth is no more than 50 cm. There is practically no sand. The corals start right away. Need slippers. Or - on foot to the pier.
Kitchen... more precisely, the "canteen" of the dormitory of students of chemists named after Berthold Schwartz. I wanted to kill the cook on the first day. In the future, this desire increased exponentially.
The pool is ugly. There are no filters, because in the evening I saw the "staff" throwing bleach into the pool with handles from a bucket....
The staff is all in....one place. They do not respond to requests. They say with a smile - we can not help. In a conversation, the manager even admitted that they do not expect that someone will come to them a second time. Surprisingly, the attitude to Western European tourists is exactly the same (boorish) as to the owners of a hammer and sickle passport.
Summary - crossed out the Maldives from its own globe. No more foot there!
