A small review about our trip to the magical Maldives. We spent 10 days at Club Med Kani in December 2018. The composition of the travelers was as follows: me, my husband, our son, 9 years old.
We bought a tour on the official website of Club Med, because. this is not the first time we go to rest with them, and we are completely sure of the quality of the rest. In addition, my son had a 50% discount on accommodation, so we also saved money) We bought the tour with a flight, so as not to bother about anything at all, neither about tickets, nor about transfers.
We booked a family suite, for a very long time I dreamed of living in these magical houses right on the water, and my husband went forward) this is considered a closed five-star zone on the territory of the hotel, and only guests from the age of 8 can live there, that is, the son has grown very successfully by age)

Upon arrival, we were met right at the airport, brought by boat to the island, we drove for about 30 minutes. I advise those who are motion sickness to take a pill for motion sickness in advance. I have a very weak vestibular apparatus, I get sick even in the car, and I was very grateful to my husband, who took care of this in advance.
When we arrived on the island, they helped us very quickly to check into the room, which turned out to be just magical! This is really a house on stilts, on the water, but very cool - it has a furnished terrace, and its own direct access to the sea, and even a butler service is provided. And you could also order breakfast in the room, which is very convenient for those who hardly wake up, like me) In general, not a room, but a dream)))
Separately, I will immediately tell you about the pastime for the child. The hotel has children's clubs for children of different ages, they are united in groups, and they can spend the whole day in this club, doing all sorts of interesting things under the supervision of professional educators. Sports events, creative activities, even cooking lessons are held with children. And of course, where on the islands without water entertainment - my son tried sailing, and paddleboarding, and kayaking. In general, in fact, he spent the whole day in the club, only for lunch / dinner we took him away.
Now about my pastime with my husband. To be honest, when we flew, I thought that I would lie on the beach with a book for the whole vacation, occasionally interrupting for swimming and sleeping. It wasn't here! Firstly, the tour included a bunch of water sports - like for children, kayaking, paddleboarding, and - most importantly! – snorkeling! And I love snorkelling! Therefore, almost every day, my guide and I swam into open water and rejoiced at the beauty of the underwater world)
Well, while you are on the ground, there is also something to do. You can go to fitness, you can work out on the circus trapeze, you can play tennis, volleyball or bumbinton. We didn’t have time to be bored for a minute, and I got the book only a couple of times)

I would also like to mention separately the excellent cuisine. Breakfasts, lunches, dinners - everything was very tasty, with a chic choice and excellent presentation. And we, as residents of a separate zone, had our own bar and lounge, where champagne was served in the evening))) In general, this is a paradise)
To be honest, it was one of the best vacations of my life even though we travel regularly. But in this place we managed to truly relax and unwind. Beautiful sea, sunsets, white sand, loved ones nearby - what else is needed for happiness)
