I am full of impressions after this trip, so I don’t even know what to take on and what to talk about!

How we chose the route - we wanted to see, of course, but also to relax a bit! Of course, there are such programs that you watch almost everything, the whole country, one might say, but 16 days of a sightseeing tour is a bit much... I think that at the end of the program you don’t care about everything, just to stay somewhere in a hotel so that you don’t have to it was tomorrow to leave again with a suitcase and change the hotel... So we didn’t see everything, but I don’t regret it - there will be a reason to return! ))))

So, our tour was called "The Eagle and the Snake". Well, it’s generally clear about the eagle and the snake - like the capital of Mexico, the city of Mexico City, was built on the very place where, according to legend, the Aztecs saw an eagle sitting on a cactus and holding a snake in its beak! They say they saw him sitting on an island in the lake, so they built a city on the lake... In general, the name of the tour has such a name))) The difference between it and others like it, as we were told in the agency, is that we we visit the city of Taxco and not just stop by, but live there for 2 nights! And it's worth it!

Taxco is a city of silver, world famous not only for its silverware (which is either terribly expensive here if it is a beautiful work, or so, inexpensive, but in this case nothing special... ), but also for its unique style with narrow winding streets and white houses with tiled roofs , well, and the Cathedral of Santa Prisca (almost the only one in Mexico dedicated not to the Virgin Mary), built by the richest man of the 18th century, who made a fortune precisely on silver mining in these places. Stunningly beautiful city! It's worth staying here for a couple of nights! You can move there along the mountain narrow streets only on a beetle car, others can not do it. The most thrill is to drive such a car to the very top of the mountain to the statue of Christ towering over the city! . . The impressions are still the same! ))))

In addition, there are caves, or grottoes, near Taxco, we were there, long and high... you walk through them, you go deeper, and the guide tells, they say, who this or that stalactite looks like; Concerts are held there, the acoustics are amazing, and even weddings are held! The height of the grottoes is up to 80 m. The length is several kilometers. But I didn’t reach the end, I preferred to return, claustrophobia, you know)))

Sobssna, I jumped. Let's start with Mexico City. We flew there. Stayed there for 3 nights. What they saw: Zocalo Square, the largest cathedral in America, the National Palace with frescoes by Diego Rivera, the museums of Frida Kahlo and Trotsky (on my return I watched the film “Frida”), well, we drove around the city, then there was also a walk along the canals of the lake in Xochimilco. Well, leaving the city to the pyramids of Teotihuacan. Climbed the Pyramid of the Sun. It's not as terrible as it seems! It only takes half an hour to get there and back! Climbs both old and young)))

After Mexico City it was Taxco, and then we flew to Cancun. It was possible to choose another tour and go, seeing other sights along the way, but I decided that it would be more comfortable this way.

2 hours of summer - and we are in Cancun! in general, the resort is a spit, very narrow and long, so the hotels are not wide, but up, the territories are not very good, but the buildings are tall! on one side - the Caribbean Sea, on the other - the lagoon. The beach is in trouble. It just washed away after the hurricane. They promise to pour it, like a ship with sand is already nearby. I really wanted to take a picture of how it looks - when the ocean beats not on the sand, but on the wall of the hotel territory!! ! But I realized that the camera remained in Taxco... They whistled, like glasses)))

Well, okay, what to be - that cannot be avoided, there will be a reason to update the camera and glasses))

Resting in Cancun, we visited other pyramids that can no longer be climbed and even touched - Chichen Itza (not to be confused with Chechens! ), swam in an underground lake, they are called cenote there, what else... went to Shkaret Park! there are a lot of things - the sea, and pools, and birds, and butterflies, and an aquarium, there are animals, several shows... we spent the whole day...

We went to the disco, but swimming is stressful... not only are there problems with the beach, but also the restless sea. So we just went into the sea a couple of times, and even then - it’s hard to call it a full-fledged voyage...

The hotel is chic... the rooms are super, the territory is nothing, but the breakfasts !!!! ! MMMMM… very worthy!! ! There was nothing there... everything was there! ))))

Well, actually, that's all, it turns out!

But I will definitely go to Mexico again!

And also in some of the countries of Latin America, very hooked...
