Holidays in Mexico are real.
First . I want to note right away: the hotel is for youth, so you should not go there with children. The main contingent is youth (USA, UK, Mexico, few Russians. )
Cancun is also a resort area located on the Yucatan Peninsula. Therefore, not quite Mexico, it is a resort.
Check-in after 15-00. The rooms are spacious enough. The rooms have everything you need: wardrobes, a safe, comfortable beds, good plumbing, an iron, a hairdryer, a mini-bar, a coffee maker (coffee and water are brought daily), a balcony (most of the rooms have small balconies, so relaxation on the balcony is only possible by oneself).

The rooms are cleaned daily. Tipping for cleaning: less than $ 3 simply will not be taken. And if you don't leave a tip, they will do a little dirty ("forget" rags, leave all sorts of booklets on the topic of saving water, etc. ) The hotel consists of several interconnected buildings. Large swimming pool. Around the pool, most often everything was busy, as foreign tourists prefer to lie down there. Animators entertain throughout the day. Also by the pool there are tennis tables, floor chess (I don’t know for which “youth” I list all this... )))). Restaurants: three restaurants. + lobby bar at the reception and a bar on the beach. The kitchen is adapted. so real Mexican sauces and other delights are outside the territory. But you don't have to starve at the hotel. Rather, on the contrary. Drinks, food - throughout the day. Even at night you can go up to the 2nd floor of the lobby bar - have a drink and a snack!! ! The staff in the restaurants is very friendly, they are interested in Russian tourists, they try to memorize words. The bar on the beach also has great bartenders. A day later, all your preferences are already remembered. Very attentive, but to those who behave appropriately. Don't be stingy with tips, but tip decently and you'll get decent service. Greed is not respected there either. )))) Beach: a bay, so you won't get pleasure from swimming. So, get wet in the water. There are enough sun loungers for everyone. You can walk along the coast and, if you wish, relax on the beaches of other hotels, but nearby all the beaches are about the same. Good beaches in the central part of the hotel zone, near the Coco-Bongo club and at the very end of the hotel zone. We went to the Isle of Women ("Isla Mujeras"). A huge plus is that the pier with boats is very close (to the right of the beach) for $ 18 you will be taken and brought back. The island is small. There you can rent a golf cart (it is better to buy it on the island. They offer it on every corner). 30-45 dollars for the whole day. On these cars you can go around the entire island, stop at various beaches, enjoy the views. The island has a diving center, a turtle farm. The beach at the pier is much more interesting in terms of swimming than at the hotel. I also advise you to walk through the markets there, buy souvenirs. There are many cafes where you can have a tasty and inexpensive meal. In general, I advise.
I also strongly advise you to take a boat trip to the open sea, which includes snorkeling. Pleasure costs 60 dollars. You will be brought to the same Isla Mujeras for 2 hours, then 1 hour snorkelling, then lunch on the island. During the whole trip, animators entertain, very fun and great!!!
In the evening, most of the guests go to clubs. There are many of them in Cancun, for every taste and budget. Everywhere is fun. We were also advised to visit Mamba Cafe in Down Town. But we. unfortunately they couldn't get there. was closed. They say it's fun there: live music, dancing salsa. There are practically no tourists there, since the cafe is located in a completely different direction from the central tourist part. For those. who wants to feel the local color. )))

Excursions: visited Xcaret Park and, of course, Chichen Itza. In Shkaret, I advise you to immediately break away from the group and walk on your own. That. you can calmly contemplate, photograph. A very beautiful park. We had lunch on the beach in a restaurant. Huge frying pan with seafood and fish (dish for 2 people) for $23. We couldn't handle everything.
In the evening we joined our group and watched wonderful performances.

NOW THE MOST IMPORTANT: our meeting party was called Prime Travel. Hotel guide Galina - drive right away, ask for a replacement. All her advice is complete nonsense. Completely unprofessional and not very knowledgeable. And our story began with the fact that 1 day before departure, we received a call from the reception and announced that our company had not paid for the accommodation and, according to the rules of the hotel, we must pay the amount for the accommodation ourselves. Otherwise, we will not be released and the police will be called. Dear Galina confidently repeated all day that we should not worry that Prime Travel is solving the problem, but she refused to come to the hotel. In the evening, a few hours before the expected departure, this girl just as confidently announced that we should pay for the accommodation, otherwise we might really have problems. In general, we suffered and got nervous. From our own experience, we realized that ANYBODY we - Russian tourists in such situations are NOT INTERESTED. And besides ourselves, no one is eager to help us. The tour operator BIBLIO GLOBUS gave out conflicting information throughout the day. 7 hours before departure, the manager just refused to communicate with us, since we are "private persons". Remember how "Our Father" Biblio Globus - communicates only with travel agencies, tourists for them are "private persons", therefore, these great people have nothing to communicate with us. Especially, in case of problems created by them. But, thank God, everything was settled. 4 hours before departure, someone made a denyushka at the hotel cash desk. (although none of the guilty parties found neither the time nor the strength to even notify us of this). Therefore, be vigilant, do not hesitate to clarify when checking in, but it is better to take a receipt that your room has been paid for. (when you are on another continent, and apart from relatives and friends, no one needs you, believe me, it won’t hurt)
Useful tips: many Russians have not stopped roaming, so it's better to take a laptop or tablet with you, connect Skype. Put money on Skype and calmly say goodbye to the Motherland. Internet in the hotel is paid ($57 for 7 days)
You can move around the city by bus. Taxis are also not particularly expensive. But buses run around the clock with a frequency of 2-3 minutes. so there is no need for a taxi. Do not count on rag-brand shopping in Cancun. Only souvenirs, local hand-made, jersey in the form of T-shirts.
Before leaving, learn English or Spanish, as no one will speak Russian with you, they don’t know how. There is a Russian-speaking girl Rita at the reception, but she works in shifts)))) But, if you treat with a smile and say "Hello", or even better "Buenos tardes (dias or noches)!! ! Com and stas?!!! " , believe me, everyone will try to understand your Russian, your gestures. )))) Snow-white sand and unforgettable sea will reciprocate you )))) Have a fun and unforgettable vacation!!! ! ))))
