The hotel is good. Yes, you can’t complain about the service - cleanliness, accuracy, friendliness of the staff - everything is up to the mark. Nature is great. The beach is not even a problem with low tides, they are not so significant. The thing is different - the bottom is rocky, it is impossible to step a little further than 10 meters, you can seriously cut yourself. By the way, almost all the beaches of the island suffer from this. Unless, at the Four Seasons hotel, the beach is cool, which is why tourists are taken there periodically on an excursion. In order to enter the water normally, it is better to move to the left of the main beach, where there are no sunbeds or palm trees. The water is not crystal clear. Compensation for this is the opportunity for free (unlike Thai hotels) to take fins with a mask or a kayak boat. The pool, which is called a "paddling pool" - the depth along the entire length is not deeper than 1.4 m. A separate issue is nutrition. Everything is delicious. There are three restaurants at the hotel, but… Their prices are, to put it mildly, not cheap – on average, the cost of a meal for one person will be $40-50. For meat lovers, the choice is not rich. I must say frankly - the hotel is more suitable for older couples. Boring, terribly remote from the nearest settlement. People who do not speak English face a problem of communication. However, this is a problem not only for the hotel, but for the entire island. I want to speak with warmth about the Guide, who organized excursions for us. His name is Shamil - a Dagestan guy who has been working for Langkawi for many years. Excellent tour guide and pleasant conversationalist. His number is +6 01.3239392. Maybe someone will come in handy. Of the proposed excursions, only the island of the "Pregnant Woman" is worth attention, and a walk through the mangrove jungle. No fishing. The trip to the "Platform" disappointed with muddy water. One more piece of advice: no matter how you are offered (and they will do it) and advised to visit the so-called "restaurant" "USSR", as if due to the fact that you can meet ours there and dine something native, nor in in any case, do not bribe. Restaurant is one word. At home, you would go around such a mile away: the service is terrible (that's probably why the name was born). They cook for so long, as if they go to neighboring Thailand for groceries. We waited more than two hours to wait for the ordered, and ordered only the first and second courses. And, summing up all of the above, it’s better to go on vacation to Thailand or Bali - there you can get a lot of impressions, with a much better organized service and, for much less money.
