The name of the hotel really reflects the specifics of the beaches in this area - hydra or jellyfish, the burn of which is quite painful. The hotel itself is not bad. The hotel's beach is quite picturesque, but not big. It is a narrow strip of sand along perfectly round boulders. The water near the shore is very warm, but not very transparent - so you can easily run into a jellyfish.
A deposit of RM200 is required upon arrival at the hotel. Instead of a standard room, we were settled in a "Deluxe" at no extra charge. The room is just huge, the bathroom is very large, the balcony with a gorgeous view. This is cool even for a five, not to mention the fact that this hotel has only four stars. Getting a towel to the beach is a problem, but be careful - there are jellyfish. Breakfast had a large selection of food. There is no special choice of pastries here - but this is Asia, not Egypt. Batu Ferringhi beach is far away - you can take a taxi for 10 ringit. There are restaurants, souvenir shops, cafes, ATMs. From entertainment, I can advise you to visit the monkey beach in the jungle - there really are monkeys on the beach.
