For me, this trip was a "dream". That is, I waited for her for 3 years. I had such a trick in mind - to get to the North Cape. And I went to my goal, year after year, booking seats, giving them up and booking again next year.

Since this was my second trip to Scandia, we (my friends and I) decided to choose the airline option, given the fact that the "train-bus-ferry" route we had already traveled. That is why we replaced four transit days of the bus version of the tour (2 - there and back) with full tourist days in Copenhagen and Stockholm, which we did not regret later.

But I will stop only on the "bus" part of the tour, which we spent together with the main part of the group. If someone is interested in the individual part of the program - I will answer all questions.

26.06. In Copenhagen, we were picked up right next to the hotel where we stayed (having previously called the guide, agreed on a time to meet with the group).

The sightseeing tour of Copenhagen took place in a bus-pedestrian version and ended with a cruise on the ship through the canals of Copenhagen.

During the tour we visited the sights of the city according to the program of the tour (fountain Gefeon, Mermaid, embankment, Rosenborg Castle, the royal residence Amalienborg (+ change of guard), Marble Church, Russian Orthodox Church of Alexander Nevsky. , Latin Quarter, Round Tower "From Copenhagen we went to the port of Elsinore for a ferry to Sweden. To Frederikstad, where we were waiting for the night there were 400 km left. We arrived at the hotel about 23 hours. "

27.06. We were only 80 km away from Oslo. The cozy capital of Norway greeted us with a little changeable rain, but it was cold.

The acquaintance with Oslo began with the "museum" peninsula of Bugdei, leaving a small part of the group in the city center.

After visiting the Viking Ship Museums, Fritjof Nansen's Fram and Tour Heyerdahl's Kon-Tiki, we returned to Oslo for a walking tour of the city center. Traditionally, the National Theater, the Royal Palace from afar, the Parliament Building (Storting), Karl-Johannes-Gate Street, the Cathedral, the bronze tiger near the train station. As well as the Town Hall building, the Aker Brigge embankment.

The Norwegian krone was exchanged at 7.46 to 1 euro (plus 45 kroons for one exchange transaction). On the way out of Oslo we visited Frogner Park (or Gustav Vigellan Sculpture Park). We have about 250 km left to the hotel (near Winstra). Fefor Hø ifjellshotell is located at an altitude of 930 km above sea level. There is no elevator in the hotel, but a very good location (near the lake).

Built in the 19th century, this colorful hotel has preserved the old Norwegian style.

28.06. The day is unusual, full of beauty and extreme Norway.

The ascent to Dalsnib was hindered by rain. But the bright June sun rose over the Gerangerfjord from the clouds, and we celebrated the Constitution Day of Ukraine on the observation deck overlooking the fjord and the Seven Sisters waterfall. And then there were: travel through the Rumsdal valley, incredibly extreme descent on the road Trolleys (Trollstigen), stops in the photo near the most beautiful waterfalls. In the evening we arrived in Aalesund, which we saw not only from the observation deck on Mount Axla (at an altitude of 180 m), but also down 418 steps to walk the streets of this Art Nouveau rebuilt Norwegian city. Arrived at 21.00 (Molde, chain hotel "Quality Hotel Alexandra"). That day we drove about 300 kilometers.

29.06. In the morning we got acquainted with the city of Molde, which is also called the "city of roses and jazz".

Cute province city. But to climb to the observation deck overlooking the 222 mountain peaks we were prevented by clouds and light rain.

But we were waiting for the picturesque Atlantic Road, where we made a few stops for panoramic photos. The air was already approaching midnight. But in Trondheim, where we arrived at 18 o'clock, a real surprise awaited us: plus 23 and the sun. The city had a fair dedicated to mid-summer. We visited the Nidaros Cathedral, those interested could enter the cathedral. Stayed overnight in the city center, in the network hotel Quality Hotel Augustin. We had dinner at a nearby restaurant with salmon for a reasonable (for Norway) price - 200 nok (Norwegian krone). Today we drove about 250 km.

30.06. We had a long drive - 700 km. And the intersection of the Arctic Circle at latitude 66º . 33'11 "(seems to have written correctly).

At the very beginning of the journey, a curious case awaited us: at a decent speed, in some unknown way, the trunk of the bus opened, from which several suitcases fell out.

By the time the bus stopped, the lost suitcases had already been delivered to the stop by a careful aborigine. the Norwegian, who was following us, packed his bags and drove us to our bus. And we moved on.

We stopped in Gronza to visit the salmon aquarium and the power plant carved into the rock. The Norwegians' concern for nature is impressive: for salmon that go to spawn, a cascade is made to bypass the installed turbines. Here we succeeded - finally! - Eat several types of salmon dishes. It was a full hot lunch (like a buffet) at a very reasonable price for Norway. In the evening (22.00) settled in the Rognan Hotell in Rognan (100 km from Bude).

Windows overlooking the fjord, the cries of seagulls, forested mountains around ...In general, beautiful!

01.07. Early departure from the hotel (7.30) was due to the fact that hotel officials warned about repairs on the road in Buda. In order not to be late for the ferry, we left half an hour earlier.

But we managed to get acquainted with the town of Bude. At 10 o'clock we were met by a ferry across the Westfjord to the Lofoten Islands. As far as I know, visiting the Lofoten in the original version of this tour was not planned. In my opinion, a very successful change of route. Amazing nature: a combination of green mountains, blue fjords, white beaches.

On the way, they bought salmon and halibut, and cod - to "go home", as well as sampled Lofoten shrimp and whale meat. The taste of shrimp is completely different from those we are used to eating. Whale meat - mediocre, for an amateur. In the shop you could pay as a different currency (Norwegian.

crown, euro, dollar) and card. We looked at the fishing village of Henningwer: someone just wandered the village, someone even had lunch at a restaurant. And avid fishermen managed to throw their spinnings.

After making another landscape stop, a couple of daredevils from the group rushed to conquer the waters of the Norwegian Sea. And we limited ourselves to "rinsing" our feet in cold emerald water. Seagulls were fed. And moved on. After passing through the entire chain of Lofoten, we also visited the capital of the islands - the city of Svolver. And unnoticed outside the bus window, the landscape has changed, which means that we are already on the Westerolen Islands. We drove a little, 250 kilometers that day. And at about 20.30 we arrived in Harstad, where we stayed for the night at the Clarion Collection Hotel Arcticus.

02.07. That day we drove 350 km to "northern Paris" - the city of Tromso (it is already 600 km beyond the Arctic Circle), where we arrived at about 15.00.

The city is very beautiful from the observation deck, which we climbed by cable car. An unforgettable experience! The Polaria Aquarium and the Arctic Cathedral were also visited in Tromsø . In the aquarium were fed cats.

In the evening we walked through the city center, the waterfront and sat at the bar, drinking a glass of local beer. The price was a bit biting, 68 nok per glass. Overnight at the Clarion Hotel Bryggen, right on the waterfront. Very decent breakfast, including hot oatmeal, omelet, two types of salmon.

03.07. Today we will have to cover 750 km and see Cape Northcap, so the departure was early - at 8 o'clock. At about noon we stopped at the panoramic site, where the four fjords converge. The pointer claimed that there were about 370 km left before the North Cape.

As planned, we made a stop in Alta to visit the Museum of Rock Painting in Emmeluft. These drawings appeared more than 2-6 thousand.

years ago and included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Some of us may not have been impressed by the museum's exhibits, but I enjoyed reviewing these masterpieces of ancient art.

We moved further north, and the hotel was 160 km - and the sky shone bright northern sun, and it gave hope. Hope that we will be able to see and photograph the northern sun over the Barents Sea.

We arrived at the hotel (fishing village "rorbu") in the village of Repvog about 19 hours, settled in real fishing houses. Something unusual and simple, you can even say - original! The hotel reception was WiFi.

Departure to the North Cape took place at 20.30, passed through a 6-kilometer tunnel under the Barents Sea, and came to the island of Magire, where is the northernmost point in Europe - Cape North Cape.

The weather was not good, only 6 degrees warm and fresh north wind.

And we were delighted to visit the service center "Northern Cape": here and a panoramic cinema, and a restaurant, and a huge gift shop… and, of course, a panoramic area overlooking the ocean!

My delight knew no bounds: the dream came true! I'm on the North Cape!

And let the northern sun hide behind large cumulus clouds, breaking through with rare reflections. But in front of me - the ocean! Here it is - the harsh, northernmost ocean - the Arctic!

We sat in a bar, drank a few sips of French champagne brought from Kiev, took many different pictures, threw coins into the ocean… We want to come back! And closer to midnight we went to the central hall to get certificates of achievement of Cape Northcap.

04.07. Free day! - On this day, my friends had the most fun, going to sea to go fishing.

I was unlucky, for health reasons that day I slept, recovering from the attack of pancreatitis that struck me that night. The enthusiasm of the returning fishermen knew no bounds! Weighed the catch - more than 100 kilograms! And some specimens reached 5-6 kg.

And in the evening all the catch was cleaned and fried in a pan and grill! The day was a success!

Someone decided to take a photo with the famous old man, and I hurried to the post office to send Christmas greetings from myself and Santa for my grandchildren. In souvenir shops I bought cute souvenirs and chocolate from the famous Fazer factory (I recommend you try it too! ) And we looked at Santa Park, which was carved into the rock. But there were few people willing to visit Santa Park, so we limited ourselves to an external inspection. And went to Sweden, had to travel 500 km.

About 13 people crossed the border with Sweden.

00, and in an hour were in Lulea, before visiting the church town of Hammelstad (Old Town) with its largest medieval church in northern Sweden.

Arrived at the place of accommodation in the town of Umeå on the shores of the Gulf of Bothnia until 20.00, stayed at the hotel "Comfort Hotel Winn". The city hosted a music festival, which delighted the townspeople.

We had to drive 300 km to Uppsala and visit the town of Sundsvall, where we stayed for almost three hours. Those who wished could do "shopping", but we just wandered around the beautiful stone city, looked at the local museum, drank delicious coffee, admired the vacationers. There was a holiday in the city that day. Arrived in Uppsala at 20.00 and settled in for the night in the chain hotel Scandic Uppsala Nord.

08.07. That day we had to say goodbye to the main group, because we stayed in Stockholm for 2 days to get acquainted with the Swedish capital.

After visiting Uppsala Castle and the University, we visited the Cathedral, which is the largest cathedral in Scandinavia.

And they went to Stockholm - beauties on the water. Leaving Uppsala at 10:30, we managed to change the guard near the Royal Palace. We passed Haml Stan (Old Town), from the embankment of Lake Mä laren admired the building of the City Hall.

Great car, new. But for some reason the trunk opened and the suitcases fell out - it remained a mystery. Drivers are professionals. Do not select here. But впер I first meet the option of a bus tour, when the need for boiling water had to be reminded. And it was no accident. That was the rule. AND

3. Hotels. Good. In Scandina, in my opinion, there are no bad hotels.

4. Disadvantages. Lack of opportunity to organize hot meals.

The ill-considered (insufficiently thought-out) part of the tour from the North Cape to Stockholm. I think that the company's management and managers have something to think about.
