Hotel "Piast" can be considered as a good economy option. It is located near the city center (Old Town), which can be reached both on foot and by transport. Near the hotel there is a bank, exchange offices, a couple of cafes and a mini market, and in the hotel itself there is a student canteen (prices are quite affordable). We stayed in a double room with a shower room. The room has a small refrigerator, TV, kettle, crockery and even a radio. The hotel is ideal for students and tourists who come to see the sights of Krakow, and not count the hotel stars. Winter snowy Krakow is extraordinarily beautiful! Each, even the most unremarkable at first glance, street is something! Small chamber cafes, cotton flakes of snow outside the window and hot fragrant mulled wine...
And of the many excursions, I especially remember the trip to the Velichka salt mine and a walking tour of Wawel. I advise everyone!
