Once again, we decided to go on the road before the new year, so as not to meet this winter, cheerful holiday in a gray, snowless industrial metropolis.

There were seven such desperate people this time.

So: 12/30/2010. train Dnepropetrovsk-Lviv and 31.12. 2010. at 9 o'clock in the morning our company in the city of Leva : )

We take a taxi minibus and go to the pre-booked hotel "Helikon".

4 * hotel, but I do not advise you to consider it for a trip to Lviv, especially in winter.

The rooms are spacious, not very clean but not terrible, terribly cold and the location of the hotel is out of the way.

Would I return to Helikon - 100% NO! .

The New Year itself took place very cool, drunken and cheerful, mainly in the city on the Christmas tree on the central square in front of the opera (we had previously made ourselves dinner in a restaurant at the hotel).

Then there were three days spent in Lviv... Well, you need to write about this separately... sweets, mulled wine, chocolate makers, churches, the House of Legends, a Christmas fair, freshly brewed beer and chocolate-covered lard... mmm; ) diet will no longer help: )

I would return to Lviv - I will definitely return.

01/03/2011 at seven in the morning at the railway station we were already waiting for a bus to Zakopane (Poland) and a paid ticket until 01/10/2010 from the Kiev tour operator Lora-Tour (Yuri Nikolaevich).

We got on the bus, drove off, crossed the border with fighting, and by 11 o'clock at night settled in the hotel/villa "Tatarek".

"Tatarek" is, like most others in Zakopane, a small two-story house with a steep pitched roof, or as they are also called "alpine house" located on a street called Podkhalyanska near the Perdalivka friend stop : ))

This "hotel 3 *" is served by the good-natured, sympathetic and Russian-understanding Wojtek and his wife, who live in it.

Of the minuses of Tatarek (and most similar private mansions / hotels / guestrooms of the budget plan):

- very small rooms;

- no cleaning in the rooms and change of bed linen, if you do not ask;

- there is no hotel infrastructure as such, even meals at the neighboring hotel Mermihhhh;

From the pros:

- the rooms are clean and tidy, amenities are available:

- not far away "home" slides with ski lifts and equipment rental;

- 1 km to the ski lift to Nosal

I would return to Tatarek - no.

The week went well. I rode every day and tried to go around all the slopes in Zakopane - I failed in a week. Kasprow top is beautiful, the height is 2 km, the beauty is alpine. Were in two different water parks (I recommend in Bukovina Tatranska). And of course, Krupovka with its karchma Vatra, Forge, Mexican bar.... In short, in the evenings there is something to do on it, and again. . . a diet will not help : )

I would return to Zakopane - I think someday I will return if I don’t exchange it for Slovakia or something like that : )))
