Dubai Fountain

Dubai Fountain, The Dubai Fountain
UAE, Dubai
The Dubai Fountain is a musical fountain located next to the Burj Khalifa skyscraper. This is one of the largest and tallest fountains in the world. The height of its jets reaches 150 meters, approximately the height of the 50th floor. And yet, this is only one fifth of the height of a skyscraper. The fountain is illuminated by 50 colored spotlights and 6,000 light sources.
Construction of the fountain was announced by developer Emaar in June 2008. The first tests took place in the spring of 2009, and the fountain was finally launched at the end of 2009. The fountain was designed by Californian company WET, the same company that created the dancing fountains at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas.
The Dubai Fountain is capable of lifting 83,000 liters of water into the air at the same time.

I watched five 5-minute shows (every half an hour) - during the day, at dusk, in the dark and in the dark from above (from the observation deck of Burj Khalifa). I have NOT seen the following: lasers, holograms, pyrotechnics, even colored lights. There was none of this. IT WAS: dancing fountains with music, in the dark illuminated with ordinary (yellowish) light. Laconic, stylish, but not rich. In Vinnitsa, the show is probably cooler. In Singapore (what is on Marina Bay twice a night) is definitely cooler.

Wow what a cool show!!! ! Vodno, pyrotechnic show goes every 30 minutes. Water reaches the height of a 50-story building. I have never seen a better and more beautiful fountain in the world!! ! Music is always different. Duration 3 min. Good viewing places and free.

As it has already been written here - you can look at the fountains forever. This is not the first time in the UAE and every time we visit these fountains, it is not realistic to review all the compositions at a time. It's breathtaking when you watch this show. The first time was 6 years ago, since then the music has been changed and added smoke, glow before the start of the show. Someone is talking about these fountains - they are not even colored .. , this is not necessary, they are very good and grandiose without color.

During the holidays, we went every evening to admire the fountains. And I didn't get tired of it : ) It's a very beautiful sight. The only pity is that one song every half an hour. Wish it was more often

I love the Emirates because here every building, every attraction, every park or place is some kind of new genius of human thought! To fully enjoy the show, you need to come sooo early, because there are a huge number of people here. Or take a good seat in the cafe upstairs.

Everything is chosen professionally - the music corresponds to the dance of the fountain or vice versa. You want to look at it endlessly, sometimes the music is so touching that you even get goosebumps. In any case, you will not pass by, but just in case - I recommend

Those who have already seen the fountain show, do not think that it is the same here. Here, like everything else in Dubai - on a grand scale and chic. Believe me, you will come here every evening after the first viewing. The best (in terms of lack of crowds and a good view) to watch the action from the restaurant upstairs.

In the evening, every half an hour, a new, as if living, combination of light and sound. Always a different song and a new "dance" of the fountain. Better viewed from the Burj Khalifa - fewer people and a wider view than the view from the Dubai Mall bridge.
