The park covers an area of ​​one square kilometer and consists of three parts: the Sharjah Museum of Natural History and Botany, the Arabian Wildlife Center and the Children's Farm. The park also includes the Center for the Breeding of Endangered Wild Animals and Plants of the Arab Countries, an impressive research and breeding institute, but it is not open to the general public.
The Arabian Wildlife Center is the only zoo in the Arabian Peninsula, which presents all the species of animals found in the nature of this region, both modern and already extinct. The Arabia Wildlife Center opened in September 1999. Today, this spacious complex naturally contains over 100 species of animals. The center demonstrates the diversity of the fauna of the Arabian Peninsula and acquaints visitors with extinct and rare animal species.
