Until this winter, I had never heard of Zauchensee or Ski Amade ski passes, but the Kyiv school "Penguins" has been taking children here for several springs. Probably because the 1987 World Cup track is located here, there are few people here, and in the central bar there are huge schnitzels that completely cover the plate with potatoes : -)

The resort itself is small, and all the tracks can be slowly driven around in a day.

The next day, you can go down to the neighboring Flachauwinkl, move by bus to the neighboring slope of Kleinarl, but it doesn’t make much sense, because there are fewer and worse trails.

On the third day you can master freeride. The tracks are located in such a way that even though the track, even through the forest, we still get to the center of the resort. And there is freeride here for every taste - and a rare forest, and a field, and a steep slope and almost gentle. We saw a freeride instructor with two students, and several popular freeride routes are marked with rare signs.
The resort has several "simulators" - a track with a timer and a video camera. They allow you to objectively admit that you are not a professional, although you have been skating for 20 years. You can spend another day on simulators and in fan zones with small jumps.

Then, if you get tired, you can go to another part of the Ski Amade region, for example, to Altenmarkt, which has several more slopes, or to Flachau a little further, or to Bad Hof Gastein and at the same time walk along the abandoned Bad Gastein.
