The north tower of the Cathedral, and it is 123 meters high (the highest tower in Belgium), you will see from anywhere in the city. The foundation stone for the construction of the Cathedral was laid in the 14th century, and the construction itself lasted a total of 250 years. The most valuable inside the temple are the original works of Peter Paul Rubens, which he wrote specifically for the Antwerp Cathedral: triptychs "Exaltation of the Cross of the Lord", "Descent from the Cross" and "Resurrection of Christ".
