The Groeninge Museum is an art museum in Bruges, famous for its Flemish paintings, the collection of which dates back to 1716. Among them are two paintings by Jan van Eyck, paintings by I. Bosch, G. David, G. Memling, P. Brueghel the Younger and other artists of this era.
The modern museum building was built in 1930 and expanded in 1994 to 15 rooms. There are also paintings by artists of the 19th-20th centuries, a permanent exhibition of watercolors and engravings by the British artist Frank Brangwyn, who was born in Bruges.
