Ropotamo is a 48 km long river. The sources of the river are located in the spurs of Strandzha. At the mouth of the river there is a national park of the same name, with a total area of 860 hectares, as well as a pelican reserve.
The park is protected by vast natural swamps, habitats and habitats of rare species of flora and fauna, including desert orchids. Here are the largest sand dunes in Bulgaria.
