From Piazza Riforma, you can climb up the narrow streets going up to the Cathedral of Lugano. Please note that the facade of the church is divided into three parts, noble people of the city once passed through the central one. The left entrance is called the "portal of birds", and the right one is called the "portal of death" (it is assumed that coffins with the dead were carried through it). Frescoes from the 13th-14th centuries have been preserved inside the church. The entrance is free.→
