Yudaiqiao bridge

Yù Dài Qiao, Jade Belt Bridge, Camel's Back Bridge
China, Beijing
Yudaiqiao (Jade Belt Bridge) is an 18th-century moon bridge located in Beijing on the site of the former Imperial Summer Palace. It is famous for its rather high and thin arch.

The Yudaiqiao Bridge is the most famous of the six bridges located on the west coast of Kunming Lake. It was erected between 1751 and 1764 under the Qianlong emperor, in the style of bridges typical of the southern Chinese countryside. During the construction, marble and other white building materials were used. Cranes and other animals are engraved on the railings of the bridge.
