The Jade Buddha Temple in Shanghai was founded in 1882 and has been in its current location since 1918. Inside the two-story building of the bright yellow temple, there are two statues of Buddha made of jade: on the lower floor there is a statue of a reclining Buddha, and on the upper floor there is a sitting Buddha, 1.95 meters tall and weighing 3 tons, decorated with many precious stones. Near the temple there is a restaurant and a souvenir shop where you can buy jade products.
