Letensky gardens

Letenske sady
Czech republic, Prague
Letensky Gardens is one of the most popular park attractions in Prague. Translated from the Czech language, the name can be translated as "Air Gardens", which is due to the location of the amazing park - on a hill, as well as the occupied territory - 25 hectares! The last factor was the fact that the citizens of Prague called this place the lungs of the capital. The park was laid out by the city community at the end of the 19th century, it was diligently planted and developed. Today, in addition to enjoying nature, you can have a wonderful rest in the park, sitting in a cozy cafe or restaurant, admiring the panoramic views of Prague. Fans of active sports will also find something to do here: cycling and ski-roller tracks are laid in the park, there are even rare tennis courts built back in 1904. Among the highlights of the park, one can single out the carousel of 1892, moreover, the current one, as well as the metronome, from which a staircase leads to the famous Chekhov Bridge.

One of the many parks in Prague, which I think everyone saw, but everyone visited. The park is located on a high hill near the Chekhov Bridge. Many have seen the metronome above. The park is huge about 25 hectares, a great place for recreation and walks, vast lawns, alleys. And stunning views of Prague. If you want a photo where you can see many bridges at once, it's here. You can get from below, to the Chekhov Bridge, and then up the stairs. That's how we went. The ascent is not easy, but with each step the views are more picturesque.
