In Prague, I was very impressed by a masterpiece of European architecture, a monument to Emperor Charles IV. The monument was built in the 19th century, which can be seen in the traces of oxides. The emperor is masterfully depicted in full growth, towering over the old bridge. The sculptor managed to convey the features of the emperor's face especially well. The pedestal of the monument itself is a work of art, and is decorated with four statues depicting various sciences (faculties) and four leading scientists of the Medieval Czech Republic. This monument is located near the Charles Bridge, if you approach it from the Old Town.
