The Prague Zoo is the largest zoo in the Czech Republic and one of the largest in Europe.

The zoo has both open and closed pavilions. The closed pavilions contain panthers, tigers and other predators, as well as monkeys, giraffes, birds, and insects. The zoo breeds rare animals such as Przewalski's horse, giant tortoise, endangered species of lizards, gharials, felines, antelopes, etc. In addition to fauna, the zoo exhibits 300 species of rare plants, including trees.

On the territory of the zoo there are playgrounds, small restaurants, souvenir shops, and a chairlift. Ducks often walk around the brasserie.

Animal lovers and long walks
Twice she was at the Prague Zoo, but did not go around. Great place. Excellent conditions for animals, constant reconstruction and improvement. The zoo is well integrated into the surrounding landscape. If you think that the zoo is only for small children, this is not the case. Nearby is the Botanical Garden and the Castle of Troy. If you want to combine everything in one day, you need to come to the opening. In the summer months (see the site) there is a great offer Troy card - a comprehensive ticket to the zoo, botanical garden, greenhouse and castle, gives good savings.→

Zoo
Beautiful, multistage zoo. Animals are kept in as natural conditions as possible. And not like in the Moscow Zoo behind high bars and at a decent distance. There were far from all animals, for example, there were no elephants and giraffes. The zoo is interestingly divided into geographical zones. There is a funicular.→

Corner of Africa in Prague
The Prague Zoo loves and cares for its wards, and does everything to satisfy the interest of visitors. Great place for kids and adults who love nature. A lot of greenery and beautiful landscapes, including views of Prague, a recreated corner of Africa and the climate of India. And of course, a wide variety of animals: unusual lizards and birds, spoiled wild cats and former bears, a whole herd of elephants, giraffes and huge turtles. Separate pavilion for hippos, meerkats and fur seals. Mountains, forests and prairies.→
