In fact, this is not a street at all, but just a fire break in the houses. But as a tourist attraction, it attracts many visitors to Prague. There were a few, but they have not survived to this day. In the middle of the XV century they were created to slow down the spread of fire, which could cause great damage to such a densely built-up city. The width of such a pedestrian street is 70 centimeters. The narrow strip of the street stretches between two houses, and only one person can walk on it. In order to avoid traffic jams somewhere in the middle of the road, traffic lights were installed on both ends of the street.→
