The Vrtbovsk Garden is a magnificent terraced garden of the Italian type. It is located on the slope of the Petrin Hill near the Vrtbovsky Palace and occupies a small area - 3000 sq. m. This magnificent baroque garden was created in 1720 by Frantisek Kanka for Burgrave Jan Josef Vtrba. After a lengthy restoration, the Vrtbovsk Garden was reopened to the public in 1998. This beautiful garden and park ensemble is decorated with sculptures, statues and a fountain, and on its territory there are elegant staircases with balustrades, a garden pavilion "salla terrena" with frescoes of Venus and Adonis, a bird open-air cage and on the upper terrace - an observation platform overlooking Malaya Strana.
Currently, classical music concerts are often held on the territory of the garden, wedding ceremonies, photography and even corporate parties are held.

A cozy place with stunning views of Prague

I publish my favorite place in Prague - Vrtbovsky Garden. It is located in the Little Country, near Charles Bridge on Carmelite Street. Inconspicuous doors lead to a fabulous place - a charming garden, which is located on quaint terraces. Admission is paid. There are not enough people. You can enjoy all the beauty without the crowds of tourists. Wedding ceremonies are held in the garden, then the lower level is temporarily closed. A great place for lovers of beautiful and luxurious views.→
