Berlin TV tower

Alexanderplatz is dominated by the Berlin TV Tower. Its construction took 4 years, and it was put into operation in 1969. The height of the TV tower is 368 m. It is the tallest structure in Germany and the fourth tallest TV tower in Europe. At an altitude of 203 m, there is an observation deck in a huge ball of steel and glass. From the observation platform of the tower, a magnificent view of Berlin opens up - this, in fact, attracts crowds of tourists here. Also in the ball is a rotating cafe, which makes 3 rotations in one hour.

My Berlin disappointment :)
I must say right away that this is my subjective opinion, based on my impressions of what I saw and comparison with similar objects in other cities. Berlin TV Tower (Fernsehturm) was the biggest disappointment in Berlin for me. Firstly, there were huge queues in the tower, we got in the second time, because the first time the waiting time was about 3 hours. The next day, we signed up in advance, and spent two hours waiting for the planned museum. Secondly, the observation deck is completely inconvenient.→

For lovers of heights
For lovers of heights and panoramas, this is the place. The entrance fee is 8 euros, the entrance is timed - when buying a ticket, it will have a visiting time - maybe you need to wait 20 minutes, maybe about an hour, it all depends on the number of people. Nice view of Berlin. The visit takes about 50 minutes. At the top there is a cafe - the opportunity to drink German beer overlooking the city.→
