The Stork Fountain appeared on the central square of the city back in 1894 in honor of the silver wedding of the Danish royal couple. Since then, it has been a favorite meeting place for citizens. Address: Amagertorv 6 The sculptural image of storks at one time caused a storm of discussions and discussions - are storks or herons embodied in bronze? It got to the point that in 2008 the city authorities turned to local ornithologists to give their verdict. Scientists reassured the townspeople - there are indeed storks in the fountain.
