Keila Waterfall

Keila Joa Waterfall, Keila juga, Keila Waterfall
Estonia, Keila
This picturesque waterfall is located in a park area on the Keila River - which was the reason for its name. The road from the park to the waterfall runs along the riverbed through two suspension bridges.
This is the third largest and most powerful waterfall in Estonia. Its height reaches 6 meters, and its width is about 70 meters.
Near the waterfall is the recently restored former noble estate of Fall, so it will be very convenient to combine its inspection with a visit to this castle. A small hydroelectric power station was also built on the Keila River.

A great place for relaxing walks and romantic photo shoots. It is not surprising that newlyweds love to be photographed here, for whom two wire hearts were placed so that they could seal their love with a traditional padlock. Previously, locks were hung on an elegant creaky bridge. By the way, the locks were not thrown away from the bridge, but collected in a special metal box and placed next to the hearts - I liked this idea. For the first time, we visited here in the summer, but in autumn Keila-Joa is even more beautiful! I wrote more about the waterfall here: http://www.
