This is the best skansen I've ever been to. It is lively and warm in the truest sense of the word, because when you enter the house - "museum exhibit", you will feel the heat from the heated oven, on which you have just cooked food, and a hospitable host or hostess will come out to meet you (namely, the "hostess" , and not the "caretaker"), who will gladly show the house, talk about the village life. Chickens run around the yard, and well-fed piglets grunt in the barn. The Tallinn Open Air Museum is one of the best places where you can take a break from the bustle of the city without leaving the city. The museum is located in a beautiful place by the sea. On the territory of the museum there are places for recreation, where you can have a small impromptu picnic, or you can dine in a more colorful and civilized way - in the local village tavern.

The Tallinn Open Air Museum is open daily from 10 am to 8 pm.
