Monastery of St. Birgitta - a former Catholic monastery in Tallinn, belonged to the Order of St. Birgitta. The monastery was the largest monastic building in Livonia. The peculiarity of this nunnery was that male priests were allowed to live and conduct divine services in it.

The ruins of the temple of Birgitta are striking in their size. Once here, I usually think: if the preserved ruins are so monumental, then what did the monastery look like 500 years ago, during its heyday? The remains of the Birgitta monastery are located in a picturesque place: the sea, the forest and the Pirita river are nearby, which together creates ideal conditions for relaxation (the main thing is that the weather does not let you down). Right outside the fence of the old monastery is the new monastery, it is located in a beautiful building of modern architecture.
