For vacationers in the resort town of Port Ghalib, a lot of entertainment is provided, but the most exciting thing here is its coral reef. Underwater life is very colorful and varied already 10 meters from the shore: in the clear emerald water you can see napolen fish, moray eels, tuna, dolphins, turtles, stingrays and sometimes even sharks. This is a great place for those who like to swim with a camera.
The complex has one of the best diving centers in southern Egypt, which offers various scuba diving programs.

Bay for divers or in good weather
We bought an excursion from the Brayka Bay hotel guide from "Feeria" named Zanati. And this is the biggest negative that remained from our vacation. Why? ...telling: We were picked up from the hotel at 7.30, for more than an hour we collected tourists from hotels. It turns out that all the tourists are foreigners. Brought and seated on the ship, chic, clean and comfortable. There were German, Polish and English guides, but as it turns out, there is NO Russian-speaking one ....But that's nothing, we're going out to sea .→

Very interesting reef
The port itself is a long bay with bridges. There is no storm at all in the bay, and this allows you to swim in any weather. If you sail towards the port, the corals are very bright and lively (thickets of fan coral, soft coral, porous coral, brain coral, etc. ), visibility is excellent when there is not much plankton. There are a lot of living creatures, especially small colored chromis, swallows, squirrels, soldiers, cardinals, cesium and goldfish. Already at the exit from the bay we saw 3 gorgeous rayed lionfish.→

Much more than expected
The hotel is located right in Potu Ghalib, opposite the beach there are yachts and catamarans. The port itself is a long bay with bridges. There is no storm at all in the bay, and this allows you to swim in any weather. It is along this bay that the reef of the hotel is located. Looking at the map of Port Ghalib, we did not expect anything good from the reef. But in vain! The reef really shocked us with the beauty and diversity of corals and the abundance of the underwater world.
