Fares Restaurants

Fares Seafood, Fares Fish Restaurant Sharm El Sheikh
Egypt, Sharm el-Sheikh
Fares Fish Restaurants are popular with locals and tourists and are considered one of the best seafood restaurants in Sharm El Sheikh. The first establishment in the Old Market area was opened in 1994 and today the network has 3 restaurants in the southern part of the city: in the already mentioned Old Market in the Old Town, on El Mercato Street and in Naama Bay. The menu here offers only fresh Mediterranean cuisine, fish and seafood. Of particular note are the signature seafood soup and the pyramid-shaped lobster and shrimp dish. Fares Seafood restaurants do not serve alcohol. Also here you can order food with you, which is convenient and economical at the same time.

Yes, my friends, the service here is lame, many waiters are boors. But every year I try to get here (to the Old City) just for the signature soup, which now costs about 5 bucks. And I must say that I liked this soup more than in Mahoney. There is also delicious, but quite different. Fares' soup is worth tolerating the restaurant with its "overshoots". We weren't fooled, we took 2 soups and fries and didn't drink their water or eat their buns. They didn't bring us snacks. There was an Egypt-Morocco match, so they didn't pester us : ).

We bought 1.5 kg of octopus and went to their restaurant to cook a grill. As a result, the total weight of 400 g was brought with vegetables. When ordering, we refused vegetables. The order was completed in 10 minutes and the dish was served COLD! A bunch of Arabs came running and started yelling at us. $20 threw themselves for the order out of the blue. I will now bypass this restaurant on the tenth road. It is better to buy seafood opposite.

Never come here. There are many other fish restaurants in Sharm. In this they are cheating on the bill for a tidy sum, and while we were figuring it out, it was making a few more tables in parallel. In order not to spoil your rest and food, spend time in another restaurant. We were specifically deceived for 20 dollars, they started running, screaming. In the end, we proved our case, but the mood was spoiled. NEVER GO TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!! !

Two of us were there the other day. We went to this "restaurant" (in general, a far away institution from the restaurant, such a cafe-dinner), based on the reviews. Ordered lobster, rice and shrimp. Everything tasted bad!! ! Rice and shrimp (a couple of them were a strange spoiled color) no!! ! Lobster - 1200 grams of lobster, somehow they didn't notice this size!! ! The score for 1250 Egyptian rounds ($80) was absolutely not worth it!! !

First time I'm writing a review. Boiled. We have been to Fares many times (in the Old City). Usually they took soup, shrimp, fish. Everyone was happy. Ordered lobster today. I wanted something like that))) Lobster was brought in 10 minutes later (amazing speed for cooking !! ! ) and did not even have time to warm up properly. I already realized that I was being fucked ...yut. When they brought the bill, it became generally interesting. They added a dish that we did not eat, and the lobster was not calculated for us $ 30, but $ 38.

There was a bad aftertaste from visiting this place ...When we arrived, we were offered to go to the refrigerator and choose what we want to eat, we chose fish, lobster, shrimp and mussels, we also ordered rice and their signature soup ...when we sat down table, there were 4 sauces, water and cakes ...the waiter came up, opened a bottle of water and poured it into glasses, although we didn’t ask ...what was it all for ...that this water, cakes and sauces turned out to be paid. . . we haven't even tried them.

It turns out that in Sharm for a given period of time there are 3 restaurants of the Fares network known to me: in the Old Town, on Il Mercato Street and in Naama Bay (in the Genena City Mall shopping center). But I regularly visit and love the Fares restaurant in the Old Town with its oriental flavor and very reasonable prices. Every year I eat seafood soup here and feel gastronomic happiness for $5. Try to pay in pounds, because in dollars the restaurant has its own exchange rate at no loss. Also, keep in mind that there is another 14% tax that will be added to your order amount.

There are several restaurants with this name in Sharm. I'm known in Il Mercato street and cheaper in the Old Town (not far from the Mosque). We visited Fares twice in the Old City - we ate soups with seafood (thick and hearty). Assorted for 50 pounds wonderful. Branded for 60 pounds even worse. Freshly baked tortillas + appetizers (£.15) and a bottle of water (+£.10) are a must with your order. So the price tag will be a little higher. It is better to pay in pounds. When we came for the second time with a large company, some with dollars, some with pounds, they tried to "cheat" us on the course.

We were in Fares, which is located in the shopping and entertainment center of Genena City. I liked the restaurant, I was there with my family 2 adults and a child 2.5 years old. Been there twice in a week. Serving, cooking, service, price - all at the highest level. Freshies are just great. When we came the second time, the waiter recognized us and gently hinted to his colleagues that it was he who would serve us. That's what the $5 tip did on the first visit. Their signature Fares soup is really something worth ordering and trying, the price is 60 pounds.

We come to this restaurant several times during our holidays in Sharm! Be sure to order the soup - it's delicious! Grilled shrimp were asked to cook without spices, they served the sauce separately - it’s so much tastier and you can feel the taste of shrimp! Ordered a lobster - normal, but not worth the money! Small and expensive. And I also advise you to pay with a visa / MasterCard card - tangible savings on currency conversion.
