Casa Lamadrid, built in 1902, architect Luis Domè nech y Montaner. Address: Carrer de Girona, 113. This famous Catalan architect headed the Barcelona School of Architecture. He devoted his work to Art Nouveau, becoming one of the largest representatives of this trend in European architecture. Not all houses created by the famous architect are dismantled for museums and government agencies. Casa Lamadrid is a residential building, tightly squeezed on both sides by other houses. Notice the richly decorated faç ade with balconies and a rooftop balustrade.→
