Walk in the green area of ​​Montjuic
A walk through the green zone of Montjuic mountain with an ascent to it and a descent to Barceloneta to the beach. We started the hike from Plaza Españ a, along the fountains (they didn’t work in the morning), bypassing the Royal Palace from three sides, into the green park area. A gift of fate - we passed the vertical part of the way uphill near the Palace on escalators! Our legs, already buzzing from intense exercise, were happy! But yesterday, in some incomprehensible courage, we walked up to the 8th floor of Casa Milla (what nonsense! ), instead of using the elevator! Gorgeous views of the Royal Palace from different sides framed by greenery.→

For lovers of long walks and views of the city
Why is Montjuic famous? Barcelona hosted the 1929 World's Fair and the 1992 Summer Olympics here. The most pleasant place for walks, excursions, views of the city and other tourist pleasures! How to get there? Metro line L2, purple line towards Paral•lel to Paral•lel station. Follow the signs for Funicular de Montju? c. The funicular leaves every 10 minutes. Works on weekdays from 7-30 to 22-00; on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 to 22:00. The tickets, fares and conditions are the same as the subway, so you can use the subway tickets for funicular rides.→
