The Magic Fountain of Montjuic is located on the Montjuic hill in Barcelona. It was built in 1929 in a futuristic style. But the fountain gained real fame in 1992, when it was restored and converted into a musical one. Every evening, the fountain puts on an amazing show that starts with music from the 70s and 80s and ends with classical and modern music. 3620 of its jets rise to a height of 4 meters, which, combined with music, makes an indelible impression.

In the evening, after resting, we head to the Plaza de Españ a to watch the color-musical fountain. They went straight to him. People are watching from the roof of the Arena, but the distance seemed to me great, 200 meters. True, the music is almost inaudible, but the play of water and light / color is impressive. Decent evening entertainment. It's my opinion. But my (low-emotional) son is delighted - “awesome, thanks for bringing me here! He even shook my hand in gratitude. And I also came here a couple of times without my parents.→

A magical place for a romantic evening in Barcelona
I wanted to look at the musical fountains of Montjuic on my first trip to Barcelona, ​ ​ but then it turned out that they did not work every day and we could not get to the performance. The schedule of musical evenings depends on the season and the day of the week: in summer they are included more often, in spring and autumn, mostly only on weekends. But on the second trip, we were lucky and we ended up in Barcelona just on the right days. We arrived at the square in front of the fountain in advance, before dark, settled ourselves comfortably and began to wait.→
