The Montgo Natural Park is located between Javea and Denia.
The natural park, whose area is 2150 hectares, was opened in 1987. Mount Montgó, from which the natural park takes its name, rises 753 meters above sea level. The nature park is covered with over 600 different plant species. There are many hiking trails for those who hike on foot and for those who prefer cycling. The participants of the hike have the opportunity to walk through both rocky areas and pine forests, as well as see the breathtaking landscape of the Mediterranean. All the way to the highest point of Mount Montgo, in good weather, you can see the island of Ibiza, which is two hours by boat from Denia.
