The Arab fortress of Gibralfaro has been preserved in ruins on a mountain overlooking Malaga and is one of the main attractions of the city.

Gibralfaro offers a unique view of Malaga and the local bullring. In the center of the fortress there is an exhibition of armor, swords and other items of historical significance.
