Roman aqueduct of Tarragona

Roman Aqueduct, Les Ferreres Aqueduct
Spain, Tarragona
The aqueduct, a legacy of ancient Rome, is located 4 km from the city, next to the N-240 highway. The Tarragona people call this aqueduct Ponte del Diablo, that is, the Devil's Bridge, due to the fact that it was built almost on bones: a huge number of slaves who built this bridge died.

This is a high bridge, consisting of two levels of arches - 27 meters high and 217 meters long. A water pipe was built of stone without any fixing solution. At one time, he supplied the whole of Tarragona with drinking water from the Francoli river source.

The oldest building, majestically preserving its history. Walking along it, you will definitely feel something unusual, some kind of aching feeling inside. That's what happened to me and it's amazing. Here you get masterpiece photos, even if you are photographing for the first time in your life.

During the tour, you could walk along the aqueduct, which was scary and very adrenaline. Super photos, very emotional tour, I recommend it to everyone who is nearby. The construction has a history of 2.000 years, and has been preserved very well.
