Botanical Garden of Puerto de la Cruz is a small tropical garden established by the decree of King Charles III and located in the eastern part of the city. The garden was founded in 1788 and is considered the second oldest botanical garden in Spain. The first seedlings in the garden were planted in 1792, but today there are more than a hundred species of rare plants. In the botanical garden you can see a tulip and coffee tree, a huge collection of orchids, but the rubber tree, which is about 200 years old, is considered to be its pearl.

Okay, quiet, calm

Great place for solitude. Lots of interesting plants. You can go once, especially if you settled nearby.→
